About Us

Stunt & Gimmick’s is a content marketing firm based in New York City. We work with tech companies to develop content strategies that increase brand awareness, improve search visibility, and sell products. Know of a cool party that we should list? Shoot us an email at info@stuntandgimmicks.com.

Hooray. We wanted to say hi and thank you to all the 3 or so spam robots that have commented about how wonderfully informed this blog is and how they have make searchings for hour to found greatest knowledge like this. So thanks, guys, your broken English kudos mean more to me than I could possibly express.

Now, on to more important business. First, why did we start this site? A couple of reasons. The biggest one is the complete lack of half-way decent party lists for CES. This is one of, if not THE, biggest events in consumer electronics in North America, with some of the wildest, most lavish, balls-to-the-wall parties available to the lovely slobs in the press corps. So you would think someone would have a list of all these wonderful shindigs. Instead, we get Karennet by Thomas PR, a website that a) looks like it was built in 1998 and not touched since, and b) Somehow manages to completely miss all the good parties despite (presumably) doing this since the late 90′s. When my partner and I were putting together our schedules this January, we managed to SCHEDULE and RSVP for more parties, soirees, balls, and other monkeyshines than Karennet had listed. Just sad.

Then, there’s the CES Party List. Michael Terpin might be a great guy, and Social Radius might be a decent company, but good god is that site design awful. And again, it misses quite a few good ones. Really, you would think that companies operating in the social space would be able to build a decent-looking website.
